The Clinic

The Injury Prevention Clinic

The Injury Prevention Clinic does not only treat sports people. Those people who are experiencing everyday levels of stress and strain, to those who participate in recreational sports and exercise will benefit from treatments.

Deep tissue remedial massage releases muscle congestion and pain, aids the lymphatic system and improves circulation and enhances the functional quality of muscle tissue. Both for the athlete, and for the likes of you and I, it will enable us to get the most of our bodies at whatever level we are using them.

Sports injuries interfere with your lifestyle, whether you?re a competitive athlete or an individual involved in recreational play. Your sports performance can place a high level of stress and strain on your body. This can lead to muscular imbalances and as a consequence postural imbalances that if left untreated can cause injuries ultimately resulting in poor performance.

Example Stretching Exercise

Jeff Till moved to the Blue Lotus Therapy Centre in March 2006 and established the Injury Prevention Clinic (IPC). Here he works with sportsmen/women from a number of local sport teams/clubs, on pre-care and aiding rehabilitation, from injury. He is qualified to practice sports massage therapy, fitness/rehabilitation training and in the application of ultrasound

In the IPC we use diagnostic techniques to assess postural imbalances, your range of movement and flexibility. Through the application of sports massage techniques we are able to promote soft tissue mobility, flexibility and strength therefore relieving long held muscular tension. This is supported with the implementation of individualised rehabilitation programmes where appropriate.
